M. N. Coy’s ancestry includes Transylvanian and Magyar nobility; she blames her ancestor’s migratory nature for her love of travel and foreign climes. In between trips to Europe, Asia, and anywhere else her fancy suggests, she writes novels, usually in hotel rooms and airport waiting lounges. She keeps a house in Los Angeles for her collection of books and art, but can usually be found on the Riviera, taking in the sun and badgering waiters for tea.

Liz Hamill came down with chronic pain when she was 28 years old. Naturally, she hit the road to start her travel writing career almost immediately.  Liz's articles have been published in the San Francisco Chronicle Sunday Travel section, Coastal Living Magazine, Living Without Magazine, Cabin Life Magazine, and many others.  In June 2009 she started Travels With Pain (www.travelswithpain.com), the blog that inspired The Imperfect Traveler. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Liz lives deep in the Silicon Valley with her fiancé and her cats.

Laureen Hudson is a writer, a professional editor (here and here), a scuba instructor, a beginning sailor, a traveler, a birth advocate, a blogger, a podcaster, a website manager, an enthusiastic geek enabler, and an obsessive researcher who’s chiefly focused on, and delighted with, her husband Jason, her sons Rowan and Kestrel, and her daughter Aurora. She’s a lifelong Californian, which lends a distinctive spin to both her ideas and her politics, and she’s discovered, in her peregrinations, that the world is far smaller yet far more fascinating than anyone gives it credit for being.  She can be found at http://theexcellentadventure.com.

Angela N. Hunt began writing stories at the age of five, concerning a telepathic horse and its girl, with no idea that such endeavor would come to be the chief focus of her life.  The writing, not the telepathic horse.  She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, sister, two daughters, multiple cats, a long suffering dog, and a studio full of paintings and photographs.  She can be found at http://www.angelanhunt.com.

Matthew W. Hunt writes and lives in Los Angeles, CA, when he's not working on video games and trying to remember what sleep looks like.  He can be found at

Monica Marier is a caffeinated writer, artist, mother and eccentric. On weekdays, she's busy working on her books, recording audio files, and composing serials and short stories for her blog. On weekends she's a co-founder of Tangent Artists, a webcomic company where she writes and does art for 3 comis series. She fervently hopes for an eighth day of the week to be instated so she can sleep.  Monica currently resides in Northern Virginia with her husband and two kids. She is often seen walking down the sidewalks of Historic Leesburg, muttering character dialogue to herself.

Barrie J. Rosen is an artist as well as writer, heavily influenced by Japanese anime and Disney.  She's won awards for things she won't tell you about and loves her nieces when they're not driving her crazy during the day.  She can be found at http://friendlyquark.deviantart.com

Tammy Takahashi lives and learns with her three children (9, 6, and 3) and her supportive husband in sunny Southern California.  She is the ex-editor of the California HomeSchooler magazine (http://www.hsc.org/chs), and writes an alternative education blog (http://justenoughblog.com).  In her spare time, she likes to read, run and hang out with her awesome family.
