Strange Weather Now Open For Pre-Orders! - August 2010
We've been keeping this one under our hat, but we are collectively very proud to announce that we will be publishing the first volume of Angela N. Hunt's Curse & Quanta: The Enchanter's Theorem Trilogy, Strange Weather!
Sabine Parsons is an ex-analyst and codebreaker, code-named Oracle, for a black bag organization of the US government’s intelligence community. She put herself out into the Cold when her controller, Edward Quintaine, was killed in action. She's lived a quiet life for thirteen years. So it didn't seem like a bad idea at the time to go on vacation to Europe with her best friend in the entire world, Ari Doran. Who just happens to be an agent for the Mossad, Israel’s intelligence service.
What could possibly go wrong?
But back in the day, Sabine had the ability foresee the future in prophetic Dreams as well as code break in a manner that had less to do with algorithmic equations and more to do with an ability to see the code. Both abilities have slept these long, long years.
Till now.
With her Dreams, now full blown Nightmares, back in terrible force, the two friends find themselves dropped into the middle of a clandestine war between the intelligence agencies of the world and an organization that would destroy all civilization through the raising of the elder gods of destruction.
Strange Weather will be published in April of 2011. The subsequent volumes will come out in the following order: Dark Lightning in October of 2011 and Broken Rainbow in April of 2012.

Must Love Dragons Now Open For Pre-Orders! - January 2010
Must Love Dragons by Monica Marier is now open for pre-orders. Publication date for this title is September 2010.
Everyone knows that Heroes slay Dragons. Not everyone knows that Heroes also change diapers.
It's the oldest story in the world; boy meets girl, boy marries girl, they have a family. But what happens when the girl makes more money than the boy, and he stays at home to raise the kids? What happens when pregnancy is rough on her, and he has to go back to work? And what happens when she's a dragon, he's a ranger, and a day at the office involves trolls, elves, magic, and lower back pain?
Linus Weedwhacker (shut it, he's heard 'em all) knows first hand.
Monica Marier is a sleep-deprived stay-at-home mother of two. She's been a fantasy fanatic ever since her mother read The Book of Three to her when she was eleven. It inspired her to keep a journal where she scribbled and doodled an epic fantasy saga featuring herself as the main character. The project was wisely scrapped at age twenty. Years later, Monica became inspired to participate in the National Novel Writing Month, completing her first novel: Must Love Dragons. She lives in the D.C. Metro area with her very supportive husband. Monica currently draws/writes a webcomic with her friends at

Come help us celebrate another year of books and new art, new authors and new community.
We'll be taking pre-orders for Tammy Takahashi's book, Zenschooling, and Laureen Hudson's book, Not Finished Yet, along with having copies of our current titles on hand for you to buy, if you have somehow managed to not snag copies for yourself.
In addition, Angela Hunt's art will be on sale this year, with all proceeds going to cover Hunt Press's Art Director's medical fees. Barrie Rosen, our intrepid Art Director (and author) took a bad tumble recently, badly injuring herself and incurring a trip to the Emergency Room. Being an artist and freelance, she doesn't have health insurance, so we're doing all we can to help off set the expense.
We hope to see you there!

Not Finished Yet: One Family's Quest For A Most Excellent Adventure, by Laureen Hudson, is now open for pre-orders!
Once you have children, your traveling days are over. Right?
One night, after the kids had gone to bed, Laureen & Jason Hudson had a long talk. They realized that they had become that which they never wanted to be; people having abandoned the big picture in preference for the paycheck. They realized that if they stayed in the groove they were in for one moment longer, they were going to explode. But how were they going to manage, with children?
There's always an answer, if you're open to it.
They kept talking. And within the week, they'd put the house on the market, and contacted a broker about buying a boat, a 1991 Lagoon '47. They named her s/v Excellent Adventure.
Disconnecting from The System is harder than it sounds; two full years later, they were still crash landing bits of the “suburban dream.” Between getting rid of shoreside social, legal, and political entanglements, and getting rid of stuff, it's a big job to completely change the lifestyle of a family of five.
So come along and join them on their quest for a most excellent adventure!
